I've wanted this truck ever since I saw the articles on the 2017 Ram Power Wagon reveal at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. I especially liked it in the Osage Orange color and was ready to put in my order. I waited a year hoping they would decide to offer it in that color, but they never did. So I finally put in my order on 10/07/17. It arrived at the dealership on 12/16/17 and I finally picked it up on 12/21/17.

I've had it three months now and absolutely love it. Here are the mods I've done so far...

Here it is at the dealership before I picked it up. This was the day I looked it over and took a test drive to make sure all was well. It was still dirty and un-prepped. Only 30 miles on it after my test drive. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

Finally home and in my cluttered garage. I'm just glad it fit! I had already ordered my new wheels and tires, so they're loaded up and ready to get installed. Unfortunately that was delayed for another week.

Then our first snow came down on Christmas Eve! Had to get some snow shots and one "under" the Christmas tree.

Even though I ordered the wheels and tires first, due to the delay, my first official mod was removing the winch hook and replacing it with a Factor 55 Flatlink Shackle Mount. I didn't get a picture of it when I put it on, but this wasn't long after.

Finally, my new wheels and tires were installed at the dealership. Had the TPMS moved to the new wheels.

After reading several reviews here on the Pedal Commander, I knew I had to get one. So that was my next mod. Easy install and I love it.

Next minor mod was to use Black Plasti-dip on the antenna. Not sure why they couldn't have made it black to begin with. Didn't want to go with a shorter antenna so thought I would try this out before buying a different one, and it worked well.

Next I added the HEMI POWERED rear plate,
Factor 55 Hitchlink Class V Shackle Hitch Receiver,
Reteck 7/8" x 1" Red D Ring Shackle, and
Connor 5/8" Black Nickel Class V Receiver Lock.

Next I had to decide on a bull bar. After seeing it on Drummin4jc's Ram, I picked the Westin Contour Bull Bar. I like the shape and how wide it is. But it rides a little too high and will interfere with the winch if you have a low endpoint, so I plan to weld a new mount to lower it down a couple inches. Just haven't gotten around to that yet.

My custom license plate arrived and I added my 6" KC HiLiTES. The covers were black with white KC, so I painted the KC Flame Red.




I had to determine where to run the wires into the cab. MJockey pointed out there was a small open boot just under the main wiring boot coming in through the firewall. It's a pain to get to, but it worked well for the three light wires. I still need to decide where to mount the switch inside, so currently it's just resting under my steering wheel. I'm pretty sure I'll put in a few rocker switches in the blank panel under the headlights knob.

Finally my exhaust and black tips were installed. Now this truck finally sounds the way it should! Sorry for the dirty truck pics.

Next wasn't really a mod, but I needed a good drop hitch for this truck. I just wish it was black!

Today I added the Purple Cranium front and rear differential rock guards. They feel very heavy duty and I like throwing a splash of red under the truck.
