I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited and I recently starting noticing my leather is pulling away from the dash and in a matter of a month it's become pretty significant. I always use a window shade on the windshield. It's also starting t crack/peel near above the upper tray where they power outlet is. Has anyone else had any issues like this? I'm going t take to a dealer to have them look at it. I'm hoping they will take one look at it and just honor it as a defect under the warranty. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and if should expect a hard time about getting it resolved.

I also have a separate issue where the leather seats are peeling on the sides, my assumption is they will say that s normal wear and tear, which I think would be ridiculous considering the truck is only 22 months old. The interior materials just don't seem to be the quality that it should be.

Same issue. Cover on the cluster cover is peeling off. I was able to remove and it seems the leather is shrinking. I presume it's because of the heat here in Florida. Now just wait until the whole thing looks like crap. Just out of warranty so hopefully can get an exception and have it taken care of. Very disappointed.

Your dash looks shinier than the one in our Limited. Do you use any cleaning or conditioning products on it?

I have it detailed twice a year, had it done 2 months ago. Not sure what they use. I do live in Florida, but I keep a shade in the windshield and I park in a shaded area. With the price tag on these I would hope this wouldn't happen. I also have peeling occurring on my seats. I love the truck, best truck I have had just hope they will make good on this.

Some have defects. Take it into dealer for warranty work. They should replace whole dash as it’s one piece.

Had the same problem with 2 different Grand Cherokees. Finally got rid of the ones with the leather dash. It wasn’t worth the aggravation.

Too bad they won't replace it with a dash that's compatible with the new HUD.

Mine is doing the same thing. it was out of warranty by a few months and about a few hundred miles and they wouldn't do a warranty repair. I even have the Mopar Max Care plan. This really sucks

High heat and humidity are tough on leather. They can cause it to shrink. Unfortunately, we have both in spades here in Florida especially in a closed truck in the sun.

Same here in south central NC - not as bad as FL but bad. Tint the windows, use a sunshade, and condition the leather.

At 75,000 miles I guess I'm out of luck. The large bubbles started a couple weeks ago. Worse when temps are cool.

I had the same issue when I bought my 2019 Laramie Longhorn in Sept of 2020. It was replaced under warranty without a fight from the dealer or FCA. At the time I had just over 25000 miles on the truck.
