Hi All, New here. I'm looking at maybe ordering a 26 Big Horn to replace my 14 Durango. When building on the Ram site, I can't seem to find any pictures of what the "Leather seats by Mopar" option look like and it doesn't seem to be a popular option as I can't find any vehicles at dealers online that have it. Anyone have any links or pictures of that option? Are they worth the cost($2,250)? All opinions welcome. Thanks.

I can give you an experience but can't answer the question asked because I looked and can't find an image or example of leather seats by mopar. I'm thinking they are pretty much the same as what is in the laramie trim package.

I've had leather in every mopar product I've purchased since 1987 except my 2024 1500 classic warlock. The warlock trim was cloth.

I've was impressed with how the seats felt different, sat tighter against your body and hold you in place.

That being said, I replaced the covers with katskin leather for about $1,720 installed, Don't use my price, I'm in Montana no sales tax, and I had a coupon. All i can say is WOW. Now I have leather and seats that seem to sit better for some reason. I'm not certain they are different, maybe the foam inserts are different. As I wouldn't think ma mopar would make different seats, but they are more comfortable than my laramie that I sold, which had factory leather. They seem less stiff and the katskin leather is butter smooth.

I wouldn't hesitate to order cloth and they have the covers replaced with katskin, if I truly wanted leather.

My conclusion, the factory option is overpriced for what you can get aftermarket.

My opinion.

The cloth seats in the 2012 Express were the best seats I've ever had in a truck. The perfect level of cushion vs support. The leather seats in my PW are fine, but they are noticeably harder on long trips of 10+ hours.

I also agree with Katzkin. I have it in my Camaro to replace what GM thinks is leather and they are top quality. The car is 14 years old now, the seats probably 12, and still like new. GM "leather" would be cracked to **** by now.
