Looks like the wires come from the door modules. There are only 2 door module part numbers (at least for my '17) so if you have power folding mirrors, most likely you can use the module. The non power fold module might work but I have not seen one in person to see if connector c5 is pinned.

Thanks for the info! I already have the power fold modules. Do you think I will be able to just tap onto the two wires at the module or will I need to buy the two female plugs and pin them myself? Also will the wire locations and colors be the same for both driver and passenger doors?

I'll get a screenshot of the passenger connector later... Same pins and colors iirc.

Personally i would get the connectors and pins, I like factory connections vs "hacking" something together. The connector number in the screenshot is available but is actually 2 pieces... The underscore separates the part numbers you need.

I'm not sure how you could make a good reliable connection to only the pins on the module anyway...... Lots of vibration and bouncing in the doors.

Other than these two part numbers do I need any other parts to build the connector? Do I need to buy a special crimping tool?

Look forward to the outcome of this. I too have power fold mirrors on my 16 R/T and would love to add these led handles if it goes together like from the factory. Good luck

Just did mine last week, was a very simple setup. I installed limited panels which came with the LED handles and map pocket leds. The cable was there for the map pockets, so i cut it in the middle and ran the connector to the handles, spliced into C5 connector and ran wires to pin 3 and 9. The wires went yellow into 3 and white into 9. Enabled the LEDs in the bcm with alpha obd and wallah, all worked smooth.
