Not sure which headlights I have, but it's a single bulb for the high and low beams.
If it's a single bulb that does both High and Low beams, those headlights are commonly referred to as Duals. I don't think Duals were installed after the 2012 model year.
The Express trim level truck came standard with Quads for 2015, the Projectors were available as a package option. Have pictures of the available OEM headlights:

And these are Duals:

When I swapped my 17 to all LEDs, even after setting up everything in ALFA obd, I still had to use resistors on the taillights. For the flashers to work right I think. It wasn't hard.

Were you also experiencing the headlight flickering before setting 'enable high intensity discharge headlamps' in AlfaOBD?

Ok, I'm late to the party but I'm just rolling into the same issue. LED swaps go out completely on my low beams after 30 min of use. Then it's high beam or fog lamps to get me home. Anyway, I'm not sure I even know what bulbs I need anymore. I have the 2015 RAM 1500 Laramie (eco-diesel). It has the projector low beam setup. I've been buying 9012 for the LB, 9006 for the HB, and 9005 for the fog. But I see a lot of H11 talk on here. Am I all turned around? Also, which AlphaOBD am I looking for on Amazon? Thank you in advance.

If your truck has projector headlights, for 2015 the correct bulbs are 9012 for the lows, 9005 for the highs and 9006 for the fogs. H11 bulbs are the lows for the reflector (Quads) headlights. On a side note 2016 and later projectors use 9005 in the low beams.
Using LED bulbs in the OEM fog housings turn them in driving lights and make them pretty much useless in heavy fog or snow Consider replacing them with a set of DiodeDynamic SSE3 SAE Pro level fog lights.

As for AlfaOBD, it is either an app on Google Play or you need to buy a license for a Windows PC from the AlfaOBD website. You can buy the OBDLink MX+ adapter needed to interface the vehicle with from Amazon. There is no Apple/iOS option for AlfaOBD.

I run lasfit in my headlights, lasfit switchbacks in my fog lights, they are either white or yellow as you need. Yellow cuts the haze nicely. Wish they were amber but oh well. Built in decoders, with 1 to 1 form factor. No need for my AlfaOBD. The only tiny quirk is a strobing of headlights when engine is cranking, but that's the same with all leds that I've seen.

Same, I wish my fog lights were more amber to match the stock running/signal lamps, but the yellow aren't bad.

Before you start making any changes with AlfaOBD, be sure to make a good back up of the BCM and keep a backup copy of that file.
It's a good idea to read through the information on the AlfaOBD website and at least the beginning of the AlfaOBD thread on this forum: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alfaobd.123982/
OK so, I got the AlphaOBD MX+ and installed the app on my Android. I watched some YouTube and read through some posts on here, etc. I changed the setting for "CBC Features: LED Low Beam Lamps Present" to "yes" but I still had the same result. The low beams still go out after 20 minutes and stay out. I started poking around and found several existing faults that may be related? It seems like all the B162 errors are related. Is there something else I need to change as far as settings in AlphaOBD, or do I in fact have a short somewhere?

I believe you enable the High Intensity Discharge lighting option in AlfaOBD to stop the headlights from erroring and flickering when using LED bulbs.
The 2015 model year for some reason is more particular about lighting changes.
