It seems that morimoto has released an LED specific projector calling the "M-LED". If this is the case I'm really curious as to how they will perform. I personal have not been convinced to use LED over HID for headlamps and only use LED for fog since distance isn't important, but if these projectors change my mind it would be a lot nicer to not have to deal with the hassle of HID and get the simplicity of LED for headlamps instead. 8b176e2ca36b569d51cc02a2ed31e597.jpg

Wondering when somebody would come out with this.

I think the aftermarket LED tech is still too new, but getting better.

Morimoto has been teasing their LED projectors for over a year. Right now there is only on viable aftermarket solution for LED and it's the i.LED from CNLight. Lightwerkz did a shootout with the venerable MD2S 4.0 and the performance was impressive.

I believe the M LED is the same design or shares components or something. I heard that from someone in the know but I can't remember the details. The takeaway was that you really shouldn't expect the Morimoto to be any better.

Siked! Finally. A few versions and hopefully this is a viable option.
