So I have a 2013 and my dome light looks like this on the inside:








I don't think the bulb you listed earlier would work, or how you would replace this one for that matter. If anyone could explain how it works or show me what I should be using that would be great, thanks.

I don't want to read all through 15 pages again, and don't want to make a new thread. Has anyone upgraded cargo lights and reverse lights yet? If so what are the bulb/part numbers and are you satisfied with light output?

I've got the same contraption and having all but one bulb a clean, bright 6k is driving me nuts.

Yeah I'd really like to order all the bulbs at once so it would be great if someone could help us out

You'd have to find the appropriate LED chip and solder it in.
I guess in '13 they went to a factory LED light (I know they did under the dash).

This won't be a simple 'swap' like the earlier units.

Correct, all the lights under the dash and rear seats are funky LEDs on 13's and up.


We'd have to get real creative to swap them out.

The cargo lights are 921.

The reverse lights are either 7440 or 921 I'm guessing it depends on whether or. Or you've got the LED taillights.

just installed a cheapo led set off ebay, all sorts of problems, wont turn on unless truck is running, turn one map light on and turns rear dome light on, 2011 sport. anyone else have this issue.

That's one of the reasons I don't like buying of ebay.

cant say but you get what you pay for. I guess the Leds are not built to a better quality and back feeding the lighting system. The ones I got have a circuit built on the board along with the LEDs on them.
