I was inspired by FireMedic and decided to swap my factory fogs for LEDs.

I ordered the brackets, 2 sets of 3x3 LED pods, and wiring harnesses and was off to the races.

Overall, the install is very easy. The main issue is that aiming them is a little difficult as it is hard to get to them once installed. The output is very good, but not necessarliy any better than my HIDs that I had before. Currently, they are wired together so both pairs come on with the factory fog switch. I may wire the pairs independently however.

I connected the LEDs to factory type harnesses for easy connections. The yellow lights are actually covers. That pair has a flood beam pattern, whereas the other pair are spots.

love the light output not so much the aesthetics, maybe a clear piece of plexi in front of em with a light lamin-x tint!

I would pull the bumper off and either try to fab up some brackets or scuff the outer edge of the plexiglass and fiberglass it to the inside fog light recesses. A lil tint or lamin-x and your golden!

Lol ok... How about a spare set of fog light housings and cut the back open enough to accommodate the led pods? Though I'm not exactly sure how they mount up! Or maybe a mesh that you could plastidip that has a tight enough pattern cover up the area but big enough to allow for light transfer!

I did the same build also inspired by Firemedic. My spin was to have rigid dual output driving lights, low side triggered by OEM fog lights and high powered side triggered by high beam headlights along with D2 Hyperspots. I also added additional lighting behind the grill. With just the rigid D2 driving lights and the high beams, it makes a world of difference.

OEM high beams and Rigid D2 Driving lights on high.
