Leer Cap Retrofit?

A coworker of mine pulled up to the jobsite today in his brand new big horn with a leer cap on it with the roof rack and everything and I loved it. I was asking him about it and he says he's got another one that's the exact same cap that even matches my paint and he says I can just have it. The old truck was a 2015 4 door short bed but not sure on the exact trim and I have a 2016 4 door short bed outdoorsman. Anyone have any experience with this? will she fit?

Should fit ok as far as I'm aware. Take it as those caps are $$$$. I just ordered one and got it on sale for $2000

Oh I know it I've been sitting over here since I got the thing trying to figure out how I'm gonna put a cap on it so a free one? UP! I just don't want to try and pick it up w my buddies and set it on there and then have something **** my brand new pretty paint job up or something else not fun

If the cabs are the same (ie: both quad cabs or both crew cabs) it should fit fine. The rear of the cabs slope differently between the quad and crew cabs.
