From what I've heard a soft multi module reset ..... disconnect + & - batt terminals touch the terminals together for 10-12 seconds , leave both disconnected fo 30 +mins , ( I left them disconnected overnight).
This should reset modules ; however, you may still have a check engine light stay illuminated for the first several power ups & downs ... mine went away in a few days , mines also a 1500 2014...
Give it a try , it won't hurt anything.

I bought my 2014 2500 new. On the 100 mile trip home the check engine light went on. Oh ****! When I got home I disconnected the positive terminal on the battery, let it sit 30 minutes and the light has never gone on again. Try it.

Push button start or keyed ignition?

If you have a key, do the following:

key off
key acc
key off
key acc
key off
key acc

Do it fairly quickly (4 seconds or so) and then look at the odometer area and you will see any active codes (unless its a transmission code), which you can then look up on line.

They key dance for displaying P codes hasn't been a thing since about 2008.

Works on my '13...

Base cluster?

Reason I ask is I'm a tech for Chrysler and before bringing a truck in the shop for a CEL, I always try the key dance before hooking up a scan tool. Seems it only ever works on about 1 out of 10 trucks that don't have a push button, and usually it's only trucks around 08 or earlier that work.

Yes, base cluster - 2013 Express. Works on the neighbors 2014 Sport as well. (he currently shows an EVAP leak)

Ah, kinda what I thought. Evap leak on your neighbours truck is pretty common. Likely either needs an ESIM or PCM update if there actually isn't a leak. Mind you I've seen a fair amount of trucks with a leaking purge solenoid.
