So I have a 2010 1500. I've been seeing both 2in and 2.5 inch level kits. Does the 2.5 make the front sit higher and I would like to fit 35's. Anything special that would need to be done besides a level kit to do that? Does anyone have pics of 35's with just a level kit?

Welcome to the forum Sir !

Have you considered installing Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks ?

I just saw something about them. Will they work on a stock truck? And is there benefits over for example the hbs level kit?

I can't speak on the HBS level kit because I'm not familiar with it .

I can speak on the bilsteins, I installed them on my 2014 Ram 4x4 QC aprox 7000 miles ago and they improved my overall ride quality , I was happy with the stock ride quality .
Yes the bils can be used on stock truck or on lifted , they are adjustable shocks to level your truck .
I had almost 3" of rake (ass high) I hated it , I installed the bils and could not be happier !
They have 5 diff settings .
Bottom ring = stock height
Next ring up = +.7"
Next. = +1.4"
Next = +2.1"
Top ring = +2.8"

I set mine to the top ring and got a near perfect level and a better ride !
Easy install imo if you are a DIYer 4 out of 10 difficulty imo .

So I found some on shock warehouse.com there is a set of 4 it says the fat ones are for leveling but the rear are for 0-1 lifted vehicles. Do I need the rear ones? Sorry for being an idiot and thank you for the help. New to this...

No you do not need the rear Bilsteins, front only if you're just looking to level.

Check out the Guide to Leveling linked in my signature. It will give you some good information about the differences between spacer levels and Bilsteins and why the Bilsteins are a better option along with a lot of information about tire sizing for leveling kits.

Ok now some of the info I'm reading says even the fronts are for "lifted" trucks. So can I just put the Bilstein adjustable on the front of a stock truck and put 35's?
