My buddy (Mac06) and I were working on leveling his truck but we couldn't even get past the first bolt. We took the bolt off of the steering linkage but for the life of me we could not get the linkage out of the UCA. Any ideas? Tried wd40 and a hammer and a pickle fork. No luck.

Maybe some bolt buster..if not an impact wrench. I was able to do mine with an extension with my ratchet and all the bolts came loose.

We got the nut off but the steering linkage is like stuck in the UCA

yours also hasnt been driven for 6 years lol, I helped a buddy with a leveling kit on his 12 and it came out with the tap of a hammer. but like with mine and others that are a lot older they can be a major pain in the ass. pickle fork with air hammer and lots of shaking will do the trick. or you could get some kind of ball joint/tie rod/ pitman arm puller that auto stores rent, it just needs to be the right size. I have an adjustable one that worked wonders on mine, similar to this

Very true Nick..I should have asked the year truck the OP was working on lol. The trick with the older trucks is to pre soak the nuts, bolts, parts in bolt buster then come back to it. Maybe try an air chisel?

best thing i can say is get a bfh and hit as hard as u can right on the knuckle where the tie rod goes in... it was jar it loose so u can tap it out... being a tech i hate using a pickle fork cause it destroys the rubber then will cause the joints to fail faster...

I agree^^^. I used a bfh and whacked the knuckle a few times and presto. But the other side was a little tougher. I hit the knuckle a few time and then decided to put the nut back on but only a few threads and tapped on it a few times while hitting the knuckle in between.
