2018 2wd here. Where do I start? How do I determine the correct lift height needed?

The 1st question is - What do you want?
How much do you want to spend?
You gonna off road it? Or Pavement princess it?

Well, as I said, it's a 2wd. I occasionally haul things but not frequently. I understand it looks good, but I'm completely unaware of how to figure out how much of a factory lift it has and what the difference is between the front and the rear.

The kits used on 4x4 and 2x4 trucks are very different for the front. Lift is achieved in the rear the same. If you are looking to lvl it. There are a hand full of options. If you are looking to straight up “LIFT” it, I am not to sure, here is a post about lvling a 2w truck. https://www.ramforum.com/threads/2wd-1500-leveling-help.106771/

If it is a lift you want I would start by searching all the big brands, and searching on here for “Lifted 2x4 trucks” to get some more info
