So I went to my local 4x4 shop yesterday to get a price on getting the truck leveled. Was asked if I wanted to go for spacers or Bilsteins to do the job. They recommended the Bilsteins but I’m not sure. Price quoted was about $600 installed. Looking for feedback here. Also if I do this what size tires does it allow me to upgrade to? I’m running 285/65/20 right now.

Def do the bilsteins. And you can easily run 35’s.

I have only had independent front suspension vehicles. Spacers = terrible ride quality. Is that true for solid fronts? I love the ride quality of my 2019, will spacers ruin that?

well, do you have a half ton or a 3/4 ton. Half tons have independent, hd’s have solid.

so I decided to do the Bilsteins in the front... I know they are adjustable up to 2.6". question now is what height should I have them set at? Im thinking either the 2.2 or the 2.6.... but I don't want the rear to look low when done.....

then go with the 2.2 or 1.7.

IMO, the 2.8 setting needs a rear spacer or it looks like its sagging ass. Even the 2.2 would be pushing it in my eyes.

I would measure the front and rear height and then decide how much rake you want. I personally think about 1" of rake looks the best.

No as in what... you do or dont have a half ton?

I installed a 1.5” coil spacer on my 2500 and it drives just like stock.
