Lifetime warranty

Those of you that have lifetime warranties. Can you only get that when you buy the truck new? Can you add it later on? Is it even offered any longer? I bought my 2013 a year ago. It has 66,000 on it now. Could I buy a lifetime warranty?

U buy when u buy your truck or car... limited to under 50k miles 10 years or newer no diesel and no super chargers allowed.... but ask the dealer you bought it from about it they may be able to help you out but it does cost $4k+

I would stay away from aftermarket warranties.

I got mine 2 weeks before the 4 yr point, and I got it from Clay @ zeller motors...beast price around...

Doesn't matter, as the paperwork still shows the effective date as 7/23/12....the day I bought the truck (it starts at the in service date).

I had 44k miles on my 2014, got the lifetime warranty this year for $2580.

To OP: I believe the lifetime warranty can only be purchased before the truck hits 48,000 miles.
It DOES NOT have to be purchased at the same time you buy the truck. Just before mileage deadline. I had the used car dealer swear up and down that there was no way I could find a lifetime warranty unless the ram was brand new. That he used to work at a dodge dealer. WRONG

Never know, might try and call them anyways. Whats the worst they will say "NO"? They might have a deal where you can have a 100k warranty. never know until you try.

I had 14k on my 2012 when I got mine....same cost.....arghhhh......

Google harold zeigler factory warranties.
I have purchased my lifetime warranties from them for a long time. Plus they are a lower on the websites than in the dealership.

I checked with them too....Clay was even cheaper yet (by about 75 bucks I think it was), so I went with him.

I got my lifetime warranty when I bought it used with 20k miles
