My wheels and tires should be here Thursday so I'm hoping to get an alignment before then. A buddy helped me install my Thuren Overland 2.75" front/1" rear lift today. Took us about 5 hours total and wasn't too terribly difficult. I'm pleased with the stance and even more pleased with the ride now. It's pretty amazing what just a couple of inches can do.

I’m thinking of this setup for myself. But with Hemi it’s a 3” lift. Keep me posted. Do you go off-road or is it a pavement queen?

I don't go offroad for entertainment but it'll see moderate offroad use around my small farm and the three farms we manage for whitetail & turkey. Dragging a tractor & JD Gator to the woods etc..

That's what she said . . .

But, it's very good looking.

Bags will be forthcoming. Thuren doesn't mix words when it comes to this kit, they say right up front that it'll be softer than stock. The ride is much nicer without a doubt, I have no issues paying for bags to use when they're needed.

I'm open to recommendations on bags if anyone has an experience to share.

I'd love to do 37's but I need to tow with it.

It's not just the tires, I'll need to re-gear to run 37's and maintain my towing. I'd love to but my wife would castrate me, I've spent a truckload (literally) of money on this beast in the last ten days. Once I wear through a set of 35's I may be able to get 37's and gears installed.

I went with the Airlift 5000 setup with the internal bump-stop. Works phenomenal. I have a power wagon and wanted to keep the suspension travel, so I ditched the components to mount the bags to the axle and just used Daystar cradles. Works great. I would do the exact same setup again.

37's on these trucks look perfect IMO. They don't look overly large or obnoxious, they just make the whole damn truck look big without looking like you're trying hard to do it. I've about burned through my set of Terra Grappler G2's, with 3.73 gears this whole time...a re-gear is definitely in the works, just waiting until after Christmas. Currently I have to manually shift into 5th to cruise the highway if I don't want to worry about it bogging down in 6th and constantly dropping to 5th on every hill.

Had the airlift 1000 with internal jounce bumper on my Tundra. It was a nice straightforward kit. Easy to install and worked great.

I installed the Firestone RideRite on my 2500 to help offset my 5th wheel. It as well was easy to install and work well. I ran the valves through my license plate bolt making for easy adjustments. Works well if you dont have on board air.

Overall, I'm pleased with both kits. I've heard you aren't supposed to lift for maintenance (tire rotations, etc) with the Airlift connected, but not 100% certain on that. But cant go wrong either way in my opinion.
