Hey all. I just bought my first Ram pickup. It's a 2014 1500 with the 5.7 liter engine. Same color as the one in the pic. Mine is stock, but the pic below is one that I almost bought. I like the ride height of the one in the pic and I was wondering if anyone had a confident guess on the lift height and tire size. It is a 2012, if that matters at all. Sorry it's not a better pic. The dealer didnt know how much it was lifted and I couln't read the tire size from the pic. I figured an educated eye might have a better guess than me. Thanks in advance. 20180423_115646.jpg

I wanted it but for the same price I ended up getting one that was 2 years newer with half the miles. Also that truck in the pic had some dents and mine doesnt. I figured I can lift anything I buy but I can't as easily get those miles back :)

Welcome to the forum sir !

I'd say 6" lift on 35" × 12.50" tires as well ...

Whats the general consesus around here about what lift and tire size our 1500s can tolerate long term. I saw a 1500 with 6 inch lift, 3 inch body lift, running 38s. Not sure what other mods, but I womdered if the average 1500 would make it 150,000 miles or so with those mods without some major mechanical failure.

I'd say around here it's 35s on a Zone or BDS 4"-6" lift . Most go with the 6" with 5" rear could and Bilstein 5100s up front set to +1.4" to + 2.1" in lieu of the kits preload spacers ...
