A coilover kit is different as you can crank the coilovers up. So yes, if you had them adjusted down then it would be around 5.5" of lift. But almost all guys who run coil overs will be cranking them up to level out the truck with the lift.

Coil over kit definitely sounds like the way to go... I bet it's a much better ride too....

I think my situation is gonna work with Rancho QLL because I have 3" of factory rake and Rancho with only 2" setting should be OK. What do you think?

Depends on what you need, but it is just a question of flexibility. All lift kits as our trucks too, are different, the way they (and even stock parts too) sitting down with the time - either, so height adjustable schocks just give you more flexibility. Not talking on possible future mods.
BTW, what the mileage do you have? I had 40 Tmi so I decided to completely renew the suspension:

It is perfect ride, and if I decide to go with 4" lift I do not need any additional stuff. Let's say it's not cheap but it cost every cent I paid for and it is long investments too, I hope.
If your mileage is large, I'd recommend to go FOX (but in case you have an appropriate shop for rebuilding) or ICON, if not - then Bils will be the best solution. Important is to change them all around.
