If I lift the rear end 1" or 1.5", will I need to replace the stock shocks, or will they be ok with that short of a lift?

Specifically, this lift kit...

ReadyLift 69-1036 2.5'' Front with 1.5'' Rear SST Lift Kit (For 1500 Dodge-Ram), Max Lift: 2.5 Inches https://a.co/d/0n5OUjS

Youre better off with Bills 6112s or 5100 up front over the crappy puck level.

I would do the bilsteins up front instead of a top spacer. If you are trying to keep it cheaper a preload type spacer isn’t bad but requires some extra work and is a lot easier on the cv axles but requires disassembly of the strut. The rear stock shock can get away with 1” but if you end up going bils up front maybe talk to @Nick@GotExhaust if he can work a deal on all 4 corners for you.

+1 on the Bilsteins. Can the 5100 rear shocks be extended beyond stock ride height? I’m not sure as I only leveled my front end on 2.1 with the front strut setting leaving the rear stock height. The 5100 is relatively inexpensive and gives a slightly firmer ride helping to reduce body roll on long sweeping bends and reduces the bouncy effect over uneven pavement like railroad tracks and washboards.

Sooo, yes the rear shock is good to go with a 1" or a 1.5" lift in the back...?

I always forget about the Eibach. That kit is pretty freaking nice.

Yep, i think it's better than 5100's, extended travel on Eibach vs standard travel on 5100's. 1" may not be much but in IFS it's plenty so the eibach kit will feel/perform better at max compared to 5100's. Price wise Eibach is $20 or so more. fit and finish are about the same and Eibach never had the 5100 issue with the stupid nut at the top.

I highly recommend doing the Eibach pro kit. Pucks are not the right way to lift the truck. Also the stock shocks wont do well with lift if you off road at all. The Eibach kit will provide lift in the front and rear and also provide better on road ride comfort and much improved off road performance.

message me if you would like a quote on anything
