Im thinking of getting a 12" to 18" light bar. But im not sure where to mount it. I want a nice clean look. Not the "cool guy" look.... What spots would you guys recommend??

What's the cool guy look? Your best bet is probably in the opening in your front bumper or behind your grill. I'm in the process of putting a 32" in the bumper.

Lol im not sure. Light bars every where. Just for the sake of light. How do you mount it behind your grill?

You would need to fabricate a bracket. Lowes or Home Depot or most hardware stores sell metal strips with holes in them that you could use to mount it - just cut and bend the strips where needed and bolt everything down. Use a few extra pieces for stabilizing and bracing.

mine are behind the grill. On your 2003, the install would be even easier as the grill lifts when you raise the hood; I had to remove my grill for the install. I've personally never been impressed with mounting them in front of the grill, on the bumper through the plastic, on the 4th gen trucks but not sure what it would look like or how it would mount up on yours.

Another advantage to mounting behind the grill is it makes them almost impossible to steal.
