If you want to be able to turn them off you need to install a switch. Easy as mess. Three spade connectors, and a little bit of extra wire is all you need. If you have any experience pulling off a dash, I'd put it there. Just drill out a hole for the wires, and pick up the switch. Long as you can match drill bits, you shouldn't have a problem. Or if you dont care if they're on all the time, just plug them in to the pos/neg of your sub, or amp (whichever one is closer to where you want to mount them). If you have the highpass turned on on your amp, they'll only flash for bass and low mids. Its rediculously easy to do. I can put up a picture of how I did my switch if you want.

Thats what I was gonna say. I would put in a switch so theyre not wasted in the daytime when you cant see them anyways. And I know I've seen yellow LEDs at autozone before, they look pretty cool
