Can I use oem gaskets ( with the heat shield) on long tube headers?

I don’t see why not? As long as they’ll still fit and line up. I bought a set of gaskets for the 6.1 that are the exact same just no heat shield.

Should not be an issue unless the cutouts for flange/inner diameter of tube are smaller than the gasket cutouts, then take a look Remflex gaskets. The bolts can be changed out to a locking type, ARP or Stage 8, but the bolts that came with header are fine too, as long as installed per the install instructions. The OE gaskets are pretty good on their own.
