Look at my picture and tell me what size receiver I need

Had the 2019 RAM Classic about 1 week. Used the 2" drop receiver from my old truck. It seems to put the camper slightly nose down.

Take a look at this picture and tell me what you would change.

I am also going to be probably putting a hundred or so lbs in the bed when we go, with two little girls in the back seat. So the rear of the truck might sag a bit more. Not really very familiar with the truck yet, so don't know how this suspension works. Maybe it wont' sag any more?

First thing I see, is the trailer leg - check you can open the tailgate when its attached? Asked me how I know.
Looking at your trailer, it stands taller than you truck.
Un hook the trailer, level it. Measure the height on a level surface from the ground to top of the wheel well. On your truck and trailer. Then measure when connected, see which one has moved the most.
Maybe that will help determine which one needs the correction?
Just a thought.

Aside from the airbags mentioned above, if you have a 2" drop receiver draw bar, flip it over. Yes most receiver drawbars can be used either as a drop or rise. Your trailer will probably ride more level.

You need to unhook the trailer and level it first. Then measure the distance from ground to top of the tongue.

Then measure from ground to the top of the receiver hole on the truck. This will get you in the ballpark. Or buy an adjustable drop shank like suggested. Search on you tube. Lots of good videos out there to explain this. You need to be careful if you dont use an adjustable shank because weight added to the trailer or truck bed after you calculate this out will throw things off. You should do this with truck and trailer at loaded, ready to camp weights

THEN after you have the truck and trailer level, add the air bags for weight. You need the correct drop (or rise), shank first.

You want the trailer level or slightly nose low...but not as much as your current set up is. Good luck.

I'm not familiar with him yet. But that is a 2019 Rockwood 2280BHESP. My wife LOVES pop up campers because they fit in our garage. But I have a small motorcycle problem, so I would really love to get a small toy hauler.

Oh yeah, that looks like another version of the same thing. Mine has an open deck on the front, and a toilet/shower, I got the open deck so I have a place to put this.. but I can just fit it in the bed now. It wouldn't fit in the Colorado bed. IMG_20190526_164642.jpg

May I ask what that cool little bike is? What mods are on it, as it doesn't look stock...

I've been looking for something small that I can ride around on when we're camping. That looks like it might fit the bill. Kind of a cross between a road bike and a dirt bike. I like it!

That is a 2019 Honda Monkey. Mostly stock, but I put on a full Yoshimura off road exhaust, which is great if you don't have to do inspections where you live, and I changed the suspension, the stock suspension is very soft.

It is perhaps the most fun you can have on a motorcycle. 125cc (same as grom engine), 4 speed manual shift. Bone stock, mine did 52mph when I got it, now I have 350 miles on it, and changed the pipe, and it is pretty easily getting to 59mph now.

There is already a ridiculous amount of aftermarket parts for it. Heck, you can even buy a bolt on kit to put a CB300 engine in it.
