I am looking to trade my 2016 1500 crew cab Big Horn in on a Power Wagon. I have found one I like but it does not have the 8.4 radio in it. How much trouble would it be to go from a 5 inch radio to a 8.4?
If you're not close enough for IrSmart to set you up, it's possible.
How easy it is depends on what radio/options are in it currently.
Q: Does 18 power wagon at least have a 5.0 Ra2 with the phone/VR buttons on the wheel (& mics in the headliner)?

Be aware, your truck wouldn't be able to use the factory uConnect/guardian services since it didn't come from the factory an 8.4 radio and the dealer likely won't warranty anything associated with the switch.
It would likely be cheaper to just get a pw with the radio you want vs doing the upgrade. Since the 18 radios have Android Auto /CarPlay you don't really need the UAQ with built in Nav unless you want a backup.
