Has anyone heard of Scorpion before? And do you have any thoughts on them?

I had the worst experience ever shopping with CarID though, and would find a different retailer.

First off, they appear to be a brokerage firm only, so when I said part of my order was missing (and the rest had boxes with lids torn off and the like as if they were returns), they just indicated they would "contact the manufacturer" and get back with me in 48hrs... I much rather deal with a distributor that has it in stock, like Amazon. After no response I contacted them again, and same story they will contact manufacturer to reship it, so I said I don't want it reshipped because I can get it sent faster and cheaper and new in the box non-return from Amazon (should have checked there first) so refund me. They indicated they'd request that from manufacturer, wait 48 hrs, etc. Already received from Amazon prime, and still nothing nor refund from CarID, so contacted them a third time and they indicated they were sorry and can't do a refund and will send me the item and then I can return it at my own shipping expense... so now I got a shipping notification, and then when I receive it I have to spend the money to send it back to them.

tl;dr: Try Amazon/Ebay/Tirerack/Discounttire etc first.

I'm not advertising for carid, it was just a quick link for the wheels :idiot:

If you really want to "warn" people post all that here
