Hello, I've been searching for a 1st gen mainly on Facebook Market Place and some Craigslist. I've noticed that it's common on a few ads that the gauge cluster bezel is missing. Is this a red flag? Meaning that there's a common issue going on and the owner fixes it but doesn't put the bezel back on? Maybe not putting it back on in case the problem arises again?

you have to remove the bezel to change stereo's. no common issues that i would leave it off. they are really not that hard to take out or re-install.

My guess is that they were not very careful, and broke it taking it off. Trashed the broken part, did not bother to replace it.
