If you already have the RER, you don't need another radio, it will support the camera, and it should already have uconnect to connect to the phone for calls, it just doesn't support bluetooth audio streaming. All you need is to install the backup cam and have the computer flashed to enable the camera. You probably don't have the wiring from the tailgate up to the radio, but the kit I posted has all you need. Flashing the computer can be done by the dealer, or you could do it yourself with a program like AlfaOBD.
Ok now I got it LOool.. it gets confusing when everyone gets in the mix with responses.

Ok well I good and bad news.. I found the part 82211184 online and available on Amazon (aftermarket) and the bad is mopar no longer has it.
The Amazon one i found is a chrome tailgate handle. I'll have to keep digging to find just black or even a colour match.

I'm confused where is it going to plug into .. the back of my radio already is using all 6 of its connections.
Last question would be if you had a part number for the wire that goes from my radio to the antenna where is joins underneath the passenger side panel.
Mines broken and my x tool gave me a code saying it's disconnected.

For the camera, the wires plug into what is referred to as the C3 radio connector. See the pic in my post here in this thread, let me see if I have anything on that wire

On the lower right by the AUX button on the faceplate is a three-letter code. In 2009 the only one with NAV was the RER (730N). In 2011 they offered two NAV radios, the RHB (430N), and the RHR (730N), an "upgraded" RER. All are compatible with the 2009, as long as they are high-speed bus. The RHB uses an external uConnect module, the RER\RHR have internal uConnect.

That white plug is not for the backup camera, the camera connects to the 22 pin connector next to that white socket.

This site will show you the radio connections, once you put in the year and model, do a search for radio

There was a complete OEM kit you could buy, 82211184, not sure if it's still avaialble though.
The first picture is the back of the RER 730N. And the other 2 are the RHR/RHB
In the RHR the is a different connection than the RER. What is it for and how would this work in my 2009 if the connections are different. I want to upgrade to the RHR from my RER bc the soft wear is better. Z

The RER uses a separate connection for the GPS antenna, the blue fakra connector. The RHR\RHB uses a combination that does both GPS and satellite, the curry colored one. If you want both of those, you'll need to change the puck antenna on the roof from a 2011 - 2012 ram that does both. your 2009 antenna will only do satellite. I do have the part number for the antenna somewhere from when I upgraded mine, I'll try to dig it up.

If you don't plan on using Sirius, you could get one of these that does GPS only and avoid dropping the headliner to change the roof one.

If you're really wanting an RHR, I still have this one that I had listed in the for-sale section that I'd let go for less than what I had originally had it listed for, but not sure what the cost would be to ship to Canada.

Awesome thanks !
Appreciate the offer but I have a guy here that is selling them for 260 CAD. Its the ones in the pictures.
Question : is the 2009 1500 grill the same size as the 2500 ? I want to swap the bumper and hood to the 4th gen 2500 and not sure if the 1500 grill needs to be swapped also.
Thers a company here called northern spec that makes the brackets to do the bumper swap.
I'm also looking for this bezel to swap with the laramie bezel. Any idea where I can find ?
If you want to ship those black inserts from your grill I'll buy those .

Good deal on the radio, it's just as well, I've been sitting on this one as a spare in case mine or my son's radios break. Guaranteed with my luck one of ours will break a week after I sell it.
The grills are a different size, the 1500's are shorter than the 2500's. The grill I had went on my son's truck, he had a disagreement with a deer about lane choice on his way home from work one day.
I'd look on either ebay or car-part.com for the bezel, probably be fastest and easiest place. Keep in mind there are two different ones, the console one is different than the split bench.

to get a Tailgate Camera that works with the 2009 Dodge Ram

Use a 2010 back up camera

REMEMBER
the 2009 - 2010 Dodge Ram has the HIGH SPEED CAN BUS
& the 2 high priced JEEPs at that time also had the HIGH SPEED CANBUS

Nothing else made by Chrysler at the time had High Speed CanBus C

I believe Chrysler may have changed from
Can Bus B Low Speed, up to Can Bus C High Speed
in either 2011 or 2012 on all Chrysler Vehicles

If you need an interface for the RHR we sell what we call C-INTC2T which allows you to plug and play an RCA to the rear of the radio for a backup camera installation.

That looks like a fakra cable with male on one end and female on other end. If it is what I think then we do have fakra cables on our site that will work as an alternate choice. Our U-INTZF2M-25FT would work. Longest version we have, it has teal ends so its universal. Teal has no key so it plugs into any other color fakra.

A vendor on her @Mpgrimm2 can make the harness. I had him do mine, work is top notch, directions are spot-on, and works flawlessly. Worth twice what he charges for it.

He's in the vendors section

I found the part #05064510AB @ moparpartsgiant.com using the diagram you sent me before, however Im still not 100 percent if that is right one. I messaged them and explained that I am looking for the cable that connects to 05064394AG (antenna base cable)

I'll wait and see

Do you have a shorter fakra cable ?
