Magnaflow Mufflers.

So what did you all decide on? I decided to go with a Magnaflow muffler. But unsure of the size. Looking for:

Good Flow
Nice deep tone
not super loud to produce a drone in the Cab at highway speeds

I can't decide between the 14" and the 18" ...

BTW I am keeping the resonators.

whats the downfalls of the magnaflow when the MDS kicks in...

When I got my magnaflow done I asked for an 18. After a few months I bring it back to the shop and say I'd like a 14 to make it a little louder cause there was no drone or anything and they put it up on the hoist and it already had the 14 on there. I'd say go for the 14 cause its really not super loud and then you won't go back wanting more

Also I hardly notice the mds shift personally but if you don't like it you can just auto stick up to 6th gear

thanks, funny you asked for an 18" and they put a 14" on....Doesn't say a lot for the shop , but their mistake saved you some bucks in the long run...LOL

ill see if I can get you a video of my tahoe. Has magnaflow 18" and no resonator. Just sounds like a low rumble when v4 mode kicks in.

Put on an x pipe with no mufflers. Best thing I've done to my truck. It doesn't drone in the cab either.

I like things to be more subtle then in you face. Nothing wrong with in your face, just not my style...Looks like I am leaning towards the Mufflex 18" kit, keeping the resonators...
