Malfunction Indicator Light

Looking for some information on what is going on when this light goes on. The owner manual says something about checking light bulb with key on. ?? 2008 with hemi 5.7.

The mil light could go on for a number of reasons. You need to have a OBD II reader hooked up to scan the codes. Or you could do the “key dance” method and count the blinks. You can google how to do this.

Most of the chain auto parts stores will hook up a code reader for free and tell you the codes if you don't have one yourself.

It works on 08 thats the year i have turn the key in the on position for like 9 seconds then turn the truck off n quickly cycle on to off 3x. Or you can press the odo button hold it down n turn the key on it will give you codes to
