I have a '12 Ram and I feel like the MDS doesn't come on a great deal of the time when I'm cruising at about 60 to 70 MPH so a manual switch would be great. Does anybody know if that's a possibility?

You can turn the MDS off by putting the gear select in 6. It will shift up & down as normal but will cut off MDS

Anything below 65 I turn it off and put in tow/haul. Actually improves mileage.

I was thinking about this today. Not a good idea as it would need to regularly disengage and reengage to keep heat even. If there was a way to tweak the code in when it engaged would be best.

Gas is cheap. Life is short. I have a Hemi.

Before I ever get out of the garage, the Tow/Haul button is on, and the track control is off.

I let those 4.10s do their thing.
