manual transmission question

Long story short I'm very tired of automatic transmissions and im looking to do a 5 speed swap. Ive already done one in my buddy's 97 ram 1500 5.2 318, but my question is with the engine mods I have and plan on doing ( SCT XCalibrator 2 Programmer,Harland Sharp 1.7 Rockers ,Fastman Throttle Body) can I drop an nv3500 behind my 360 without killing it? Or do I have to hunt around for an nv4500? Any help is much appreciated

Your best bet is to get a nv4500 especially if your planing on having some engine mods im sure the 3500 would work but it probably would not last long lol

haha yeah thats what i was thinking so now ive been scouring craigslist for one in the 2k range bc anything past that its not really worth it for me
