Manually Put Contacts in Phonebook

Is there a way to manually insert contacts in the phonebook? 18 Ram Uconnect

Are you asking if you can make a new phone contact through your radio?

If so, the following is from the Uconnect 4C/4C Nav with 8.4 Inch Screen manual, page 63:

"This downloaded phonebook cannot be edited or deleted on the Uconnect Phone. These can only be edited on the mobile phone. The changes are transferred and updated to Uconnect Phone on the next phone connection."

New phone won't download contacts from it to the radio. Tried on another vehicle too. I was wondering is there was a way to manually generate a phonebook list on the radio itself?

Not sure if this is iPhone or Android but both systems ask for permission to allow the radio to access your contacts. This usually happens the first time the phone is paired to the truck. If someone answered "no" to that popup at initial pairing, then that answer is stored and the radio will not be able to read the contacts from the phone.

Deleting the phone from the truck and re-pairing should bring up the popup again.
