Map lights don't turn on manually

2011 Ram 1500 Laramie. 135k, have owned the truck 4 months

Lighting issue:
Map lights come on as they should when the car is unlocked and the doors are opened. However, they will not come on manually when you push them in. They have worked twice since I bought the truck.

Glove box light. Worked when I got the truck because I commented that it actually had a light, and that it worked. No longer works.

Underhood light. Same as above.

Thoughts??? Could it be the dreaded TIPM?? It was replaced 2 years ago (I got every service record from the previous owner)

On my '18, the interior lights will not manually turn on if the key is not in acc or run. They will turn on if I rotate the dash dimmer to the detent past full bright even with the key out. To me this is one of the dumb things I have seen. I remember I had the WTF reaction when I first tried to manually turn them on after replacing the bulbs with LEDs. I thought I screwed something up.

Shoot I forgot to check the glovebox light.
