Not sure as i lost the desire to make it a track vehicle. Just still a right lane cruiser that i can haul the trash but still get the urge to hole shot if i need too.

it long over due for track time so once i get the new gears broken in and the tune down then i might hit the track up for a few runs "as is"

HP numbers D ?

I bet that thing would be a blast to drive on a track D. I plan on one day buying a RT and turning it into a track Star that I have to bring on a trailer. Very cool.

That is one hell of a change. It looked so small when first bought it. I really like the look with the step rails.

Ya it was pretty small compared to where it is today haha. I still want bigger lol. Thanks J.T. I do too but my girls and my wife hates them they complane the step is too small lol. They are use to that wide step I had.

AMP steps my friend! They are almost big enough to sleep on.

A 3" body won't work with the power steps without some frame modification; you might want to keep that in mind. Something to do with where the boards retract conflicts with the frame with a 3". They will work fine with a 1.25" body though.

I talked with Zone and I guess they are working on a 3" body lift for our trucks. I second the Amp steps.

Oh that is a good point. Hey what do you think lift wise we need to clear 40's?

Oh that is a good point. Hey what do you think lift wise we need to clear 40's?

I think it would be close with a 3" body. Short of trying to buy a bigger strut spacer for the front, I don't know what more you could do for lift though. The height really isn't the problem, the width would be. Interco (Super Swampers) has some 38s-40s but narrower width. Don't think they are the best for tread wear though.

I would think wih our setup and 3' body we should beable to clear 40's. I know we could clear 39's.

I was talking with Chuxtrux and they told me I could do a 3' body with the extended AMP steps. But the steps would hang down when they are up because of them being extended. Meybe they are wrong??

They are wrong. It's not bolt-on. They can be modified to work but it's not recommended. The extended just means the steps come out farther down towards the ground, doesn't change how they retract in relation to the frame I don't think.

When I say the width, I mean clearing fenders and bumpers. I don't think rubbing on the upper ball joint would be the problem. I would NEVER put wheel spacers on tires that big either....just really asking for trouble.

From all I've read the bigger the tire mass you get combined with a spacer the worse idea it is. It throws off the geometry of the wheel to the hub and the larger the tire the more stress it causes. I'm just not a fan of spacers unless it's a temporary fix.
