Subscribed. I need to replace my tires in the spring and will probably go with the Michelin MS Defenders. Had Michelin before (on cars and trucks) and while a little more expensive, I think they're some of the best tires made.

I’m sure liking mine. Wish I had some good snow and ice to try’em out on but, they sure are nice.

My 99 2500 has 33" Mastercraft courser and laughs at mud and snow. My 2001 2500 has 37" Procomp A/T sport and I beat the crap out of it with little wear or tear. Till I retired I drove 50 miles each way in N.E. weather and never missed a day. For the price the Mastercraft work great although real ice has to be handled gently. The procomps work the ice/snow but mpg is lower about 1-2. My 18 3500 has Nexus tires and will be replaced as soon as I can, they are out round and slipped in the snow, deal breaker here.

I run defenders on my 2500 and live up a mountain in the Rockies. They perform almost as well as the ladies Subaru with studded snows. I didn't want road noise or lower mpg's, I can't imagine buying anything else - maybe if I lived on the east coast in the mud.

I got Toyo Open Country C/T’s last Fall. They let me go places, in 2wd, that I needed 4x4 with my Michelin AT’s. My truck has 18” wheels though. I really like the tires, but I did notice more road noise and reduced MPG’s.

My buddy ran C/T’s on his Duramax, and he towed 2-3 days per week. He had about 35k on them when he traded the truck in, and they had about 40% of their tread left.
