Mcgaughy or belltech 2/4 economy kits with factory shocks, anyone tried it?

Well, I got a good winter project ahead of me. Thanks for all the info, I'll check in once I get started early next year.

Listen to Gary,he spent a pile of money trying out different set-ups,and knows what he's talking about when it comes to lowering these trucks.

Off topic, would 295/45r20 fit and look okay on the stock wheel? Think there would be rubbing issues other than at (close to) lock?

I run 295/45/20's and 305/50/20's on the stock Sport rims on my 2/4 dropped truck,with no rubbing on the wheel well liner,but I do rub the swaybar at full lock on the front,but i'm also running drop spindles that have been narrowed 0.650".Before they were narrowed I never really had any issues with the tires rubbing the swaybar though
