I like the mesh grills, but they are way overpriced. I finally ordered an insert from E-autogrilles on Ebay. When it arrived, it was actually a Smittybilt grill.

Just ordered an Eautogrill from eBay for my 15. Pretty pumped to get it. I love the look of them. Any tips or explanations of the install on these inserts?

Was going to get a grillcraft but the mesh is so small you can hardly tell its mesh & i found it for around $260 delivered. Then theres the solid mesh that requires cutting of the grill & i still have one in the box for a superduty as it's a pita to install or @ least that one was going to be.

It isnt that bad. So you want something like my hood scoop? I had to cut my grille too.

Here is a closer higher resolution picture of the grille. Click it to see.

You would be amazed at the price of mesh sheets, and I'm not talking the cheap expanded mesh, the hexagonal or welded woven mesh that's good quality. My sheet of steel 1/2" hex mesh I bought was $250 for the material alone. Most are overpriced, I had an RBP grille on my last truck, poor quality for way too much price.

RzrMan -

I have made a ton of grills in the past on my own - relatively easy once you get the hang of it, and learn to work with the wire mesh material. I usually start out with a sheet - something like a 24" x 48" - Custom Wire Cloth - Belleville Wire Cloth Co - Cedar Grove, NJ .

Make sure to get aviation snips - they are really the only way I had any luck cutting this stuff. Also - a side note - make sure you use stainless steel! I wanted the black color and used plain steel by mistake - the salt water rusted this grill almost instantly.
