I was trying to do something good, and of course messed up in the process. I was replacing my front u joints and ball joints, and messed up one of the bolts that mounts the hub to the steering knuckle. Is this going to be a dealer only available part? or am I going to be able to run down to oreillys in the morning and pick one up. Found the part online and its a $21 dollar bolt! yikes!

When I had to do the u-joint swap on the front axle of my 4x4 ram last weekend I had to replace the hub nut too. $36 nut and only available at a dealer :/

That's not "messing up" that's called wrenching. Try the parts store, but chances are it's a dealer-only bolt.

I can get them offline for 20 bucks plus 15 dollar shipping... Crazy for one bolt! I had pulled it part of the way out and was turning the steering wheel to be able to pull it all the way out and it got caught and bent. Don't think theres any way to salvage it. Anyone know off the top of their head what torque those bolts are supposed to be at? Tried searching online but came up with nothing

Not sure which bolt those are on list you posted, They are the 12 point bolts that go into the hub through the back of the steering knuckle

Should be this one, Merc correct me if im wrong.

"Bolt, Wheel Brg 170 N-m (125 ft. lbs.)"

That one should be to attach hub to the knuckle.
