Hi there, I have a RAM 1500 Big Horn all stock w/ horrible still stock Goodyear Wrangler shoes.
NY weather, sometimes snow (not Colorado snow), wet ( a lot lately), dry otherwise, rarely dirt.
Did a lot of research, had Falken before, heard about the MT's to consider (even though I don't like the Q rating).
I do not want to consider any other options , not my bread, for different reasons.
Could someone will real life experience on either or both of the tires mentioned on the title share their opinion?
Thank you so much in advance.

I can only speak for my experience. I had them friggin SRA's when I bought truck. Went next door to neighbors to do something, and could not even get out of wet grass without 4WD, needless to say the SRA's were history, put on the Falkens and sold the SRA's for like $125.00 total, just to get rid of them (they had 8K on them). Further, a lot really depends upon what U gonna do with your truck. A lot of PPL Like the Michelin LTX's also. I just happen to have Falkens.

My 2019 Bighorn early 5th Gen Build, I run Falkens, no complaints. Did very well in our freak 8", -5 F weather in Feb 2021. I did have to drive off the road to get to town since TXDOT came through with a grader and made the road a perfect ice rink. I do have at3W's, I heard the 4's are even better, but what was heard. FYI, your MPG will go down 1 to 1 1/2 mpg, at least mine did because of more rubber on the road and more weight. (either U get, keep them rotated). The tires ride well, keep
up on the PSI, and do real well in mud and water, which I see a lot more of than snow, LOL.

HI, Tx you TB56. I did Falkens before on a GMC Sierra(3w's), and I liked them, truck felt more planted to the road instantly. Apparently 4w's are worst in the snow, but better on the rest. Some people say they are exactly the same...
Like you said, I agree it depends on what people are going to use them for. For me the look are secondary (although they do look fine), and I am aiming to real driving need in dry/wet conditions.
Not too much snow in NY, the 3w's did good on it btw.

I have been very happy with the Mickey Thompson tires, just had 8” of snow, a lot for N. VA & they have better traction in wet conditions IMO.
I had Nitto’s previously & would break loose easily in the rain.
I’ve never had Falkens but have seen many positive reviews, actually don’t recall any negative comments about them.

Thank you Adam an Ppine, Falkens seem the best option according to my research. MT's are definitely good tires (specially the dedicated ones). Not that I am driving over 99 mph, but to have a Q rating , when i do drive 80 mph sometimes , doesn't give too much margin from there to tolerated max. speed. I feel more comfortable w/ an S rate.
