Staff SGT E-6 Bob Meacham US Army 91C (LVN) 1986 to 1995 injured my back the day after getting orders for drill sergeant school a goal I was shooting for, was medical boarded out a few months shy of my 10 year mark had surgery to low back 5 years later my L5 was falling apart have a metal cage in place of my L5 with rods and screws holding everything together

Did Basic at Ft Lost in the Woods (a.k.a Leonard Wood) in 76. Post Vietnam, but DI's were crazy from combat. Still remember their last names, Dees & Apodaca
