Hey Sean when do your tunes on the Trinity is there an option for an 89 tune? Around 89 is within a penny or two of 87 and I really don't want to run premium as it is $.70 more per gallon. I am just debating weather I want to get a tune or not and this would help me decide. Also can a vehicle that is tuned with trinity still tow? I don't and won't detune to tow so I would want to know that too.

Smiley, I tune it based off the log. I can dial it in for the octane you have. Generally I'll do a premium fuel tune, and then a low octane tune

Just moved over off Hancock and Circle. I know engines don't perform well at higher altitudes, but do you think there's a risk of running rich with 93 because of the thinner air? My limited knowledge of mechanics says the computer would adjust for the better gas and improve MPGs, even if only slightly.

Octane rating should have no effect on how rich your engine runs. Worst case scenario on running rich is poor performance/mileage. I had a turbo car in my early days that ran pig rich you could watch the boost build but there was nothing else that happened. Leaned it out and what a difference. If you're running a tuner I'd try the 93 tune and just watch your knock readings.

I didn't know about more pure gasoline with the thinner air. I figured there has to be some reason 93 is hard to find here. I'm not running a tune or any performance mods yet.
