Missing Parts for sidestep installation??/

Hey all...first post and frustratingly it's about something as simple as installing side steps. I bought a set of rampage 26317 side step bars to assist the wife and little ones entering and exiting the truck. My problem is that in the instructions it says to remove the factory body mount bolts, start at one end of the bar and start installing supplied bolts. At the aft body mount position it states to reinstall the casting on the rear mount but flip it over so it slips on to the mount. what in the world is the casting they are talking about? There wasn't any sort of casting on the mount when I removed the factory bolt and washer. looking for solutions if you have any! Thanks, Chad
