Missing parts on New Ram Classic?

Hello Everyone, My New 2022 Reg cab Short bed 1500 arrived after 8 months.
So I opened the hood and there was no top Engine cover. It's very noticeable because the mounting brackets are all there.
I asked the dealer about it and they said Ram has been omitting engine covers. Has anyone run into this? I wonder what else they are omitting?

I’m in the same club I guess!? I will be asking about this at my first service. How friggin cheap, wanted to see if it was a built in Mexico thing in your case.

Yes, This was built in Mexico. I'm going to check E-bay to see if someone from Mexico is selling engine covers with Quantity available: 3000 "Buy it Now" Ha!

It's my understanding that they stopped putting the covers on too. I don't know why. I took mine off a few years ago to just see what's under it and the fuel injectors are louder with it off, so it does serve a purpose. I put it back on afterward and it's been on since.

Mine was built in warren MI. If everything is there to install one still I guess I am paying for a engine cover and hardware for a brand new $51,000 truck lol

Those covers just give rodents, etc, a nicer home is all. I like to be able to see what's going on. Especially if they really sell those things for ~$170. Good Lawd.

But when you open the hood, you don’t have to tell people, yea, it’s a hemi haha
