Mine was built in warren MI. If everything is there to install one still I guess I am paying for a engine cover and hardware for a brand new $51,000 truck lol
I can tell by the photo it would be a plug and play. those two little octupus looking suction cups at the front of the engine fire wall is where they slide into.

In the salt belt any protection counts
I do a lot of trips to Moab and they do help keep the sand out of all the nooks. One trip I thought I would leave my cover off one of my jeeps because I had read they retain engine heat and man did I have a lot of sand around the manifold etc.

Hello Everyone, My New 2022 Reg cab Short bed 1500 View attachment 511288arrived after 8 months.
So I opened the hood and there was no top Engine cover. It's very noticeable because the mounting brackets are all there.
I asked the dealer about it and they said Ram has been omitting engine covers. Has anyone run into this? I wonder what else they are omitting?
Interesting, on MY 19 DT truck, early build (built Apr 2018), I have the Cover and my ECU is mounted next to the battery, not on the RR firewall. stockairbox3.JPGstockairbox1.JPG

I see that, more so concerned if the 2 screws needed will have everything there. & whatever else
