What should I be able to run?

'12 quad cab SLT TRX4 4x4
-K&N 63 series intake
-ARH 1-3/4 long tube with Y-pipe & cats
-MBRP Cat back-had to add Vibrant res after Y-pipe, still straight through 3" perforated bore
-Diablo Trinity running aggressive 91 Octane tune with 92 Octane here in Oregon
-TYC 622320 eFan
-180stat
-Edge Racing Torque Conveter, 2800. Just had installed and am in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the single biggest improvement!

3.55 gears

Diablo 0-60 read 5.74 before the converter which is simply a massive improvement in acceleration from stock converter. IMO a tuner and this should be the first two mods lol!

I am not really a track guy, never have even ran a pass before. Love racing and motorsports just shifted hobbies earlier in life. Prob wouldn't buy slicks but I may be able to find some smaller tires than my 305/60/R18 Terra Grapplers (32.4" diameter) to run. Maybe like 14 on my current daily setup? Oh and dont forget the oil catch can adds 2 tenths :)

Jason, because of your weight and street tires, I would expect you to be in the high 13's-low 14's. Get to a track at sea level on a cool day with drag radials, and you should be in the mid 13's.

Most of these guys getting 12's are pulling weight and prepping for the track.

Yea, I didn't expect to get into the 12's at all, Just curious mostly :)

My goals haven't been quarter mile times although I may do so with a future truck or another rig. I read an extensive thread on Dodge talk where the guys where talking about approach, how to react to the tree, staging, etc and it was a very fun and captivating read. I have pretty good reaction times and love aggressive driving so I think with practice I could do well drag racing.

Late to this convo.... and I'm pretty new to the scene.
I'm running a '14 5.7 3.92 CC 8-speed Sport 4x4 w/ air suspension... I just added a K&N CAI, Moes TB, and HemiFever's 93oct tune. She's an every day driver/company truck... so, I'm not going crazy with her... but, I've got that taste for speed.
I used an Andriod app (GPS based) to check stock figures... and I got an average of 8.9sec for 0-60, and 16.7sec for 1/4mi. Does this seem about accurate for a stock setup?
Any ideas on what I can expect with my new setup (K&N, TB, tune)? Contemplating exhaust down the road, but again, it's a company truck, and I can't be too obnoxious with it. Thoughts/suggestions on any other bolt ons?

I would normally expect your 1/4 time to be in the mid to low 14's with your gearing and tune. Better exhaust will compliment your already installed mod's.

Thanks for the info.... that 16.7sec 1/4, and 8.9sec 0-60 was what I got on my stock setup.... I just recently (Monday) did the CAI, TB and tune.... so, once I get some 91 or 93 oct tanks through it, and get it "re-tuned" with HemiFever, I'll try the test again, and post the difference.

Congrats James S. on breaking into the 12's N/A tonight with a 12.78 @ 104.04MPH. He has a custom track intake, Moe's 87MM Throttle Body, JBA Longtube Headers without cats, Moe's 4.56 Gears, Edge Racing 11" 3400 Stall Tq Converter, Clutch Fan Delete, and a Hemifever Custom Tune.

Check out that 1.66 60' time. This truck is a beast off the line.

Add another 12 second truck to the list. Paul popped his 12 second cherry this weekend with a 12.85 @ 104.61MPH.

He has a 2014 Regular Cab 6sp with a Vararam intake, Moe's 87MM Throttle Body, JBA Longtubes without cats, Clutch fan delete, ATI Underdrive pulley, Moe's 4.56 Gears, Edge 3000 stall Tq Converter, and Hoosier Slicks. Congrats Paul.

I am looking to change the gears in my truck. Just want to make sure i can change from my stock 3.55 LS (ZF) to 4:10 gears without changing my stock axles. Hoping to get into the 12's with the new L&M trans after I change the gears. Figure i should also put a set of drag radials on it after the swap to help out also.

All you need for this swap are the gears and the install kit. Stock axles are perfectly fine, so no reason to change those.

I just ordered a list of parts from you guys for my 17’ 4wd reg cab sport night edition. Has 3.92’s.

Ordered:vararam intake, hemifever tune with trans option, JBA 1 3/4 and catless y-pipe, mufflex 24” and 180 t stat. Do you think if I do a ported TB and intake with electric fans I have a shot at a 12?
