Just a heads up, but we are doing a short 10 set production run on some new bolt on 5" tips. These will be 12" long with the only step down being where they clamp onto your factory exhaust piping. We will have 6 sets ready to go on Tuesday, and the other 4 towards the end of next week. Depending on how these 10 sets sell, we will likely put them into full production. These tips will allow you to keep your factory resonators in place, have the same easy adjustability of the factory 4" tips, and will not require any cutting, welding, or other fab work. These will be $210 shipped, and I don't expect them to last long. We will be adding them to the site as soon as the first sets are ready next week, but let me know if you are interested so that you can secure a set before they are gone. Here is a little teaser pic for you guys ;)

Oh man I've been craving some 5" tips to fill my gaping holes of the rear bumper! Do you know the inlet size? I've got a 2.5" exhaust system in on my 4.7 and the dual rear bumper added. I could just cut my flowmaster tips off and bolt these on if they fit 2.5". Can you provide any installed photos?

These are flared out to clamp right onto the factory exhaust piping on the Hemi trucks with the factory dual exhaust. If you wanted to fit these onto your 2.5" piping, you would have to cut the flared ends off and either clamp or weld them on from there.

Do you have any pics of these installed? My biggest gripe about the stock tips isn't the fact that they're 4" but more the fact that you can see where they step back down to 2.5"... are these 12" long ones long enough to not see that?

I will be bolting a set onto a local truck on Tuesday. These are long enough to hide where the tip steps down which is the entire reason for coming up with this new design. With these, you will not see the step unless you crawl under the truck.

Anxious to see what they look like installed. My only gripe with the Mufflex 5" bolt-ons is that you can see where they step down.

Very promising!

I would have done this over my current setup if it was offered then. Looks like you are going to hit a home run on this one bud!

Put me down for 1 set, pending the pictures. This will be my first mod, but I want to be sure there is still enough clearance around the tips they wont hit the bumper during typical movement of the exhaust. But i do love the look and sound of larger tips.

$210? Wow..... i do like the adjustability factor though. My 5" black tips are welded on.
