Plan on doing this anytime again soon?????? lol I'm just looking for that slight push to pull the trigger on these. Also, it will go easier with the wife if I tell her I got them on sale!...lol.

Agreed. If Moe's drops them to $185, I will purchase them immediately!

I could never get mine to clamp on tight enough so I had them welded. I didn't want to lose $200.00 driving down the road.
Plus they can't walk away on their own.

I should check mine, but they don't appear to have moved and they are just clamped. My have a guy at work put a tack weld on so they can't walk away

Did they seem like they were gonna fall off? You're the 1st I heard say anything like this.

I could not get them straight on and tight.
Welding just was a safeguard or piece of mind.

Mine are tight--used impact wrench to tighten clamps, but did take two attempts to get aligned with drain hole at bottom center--it is reaching up under bumper from behind after all.

They are flush right now and I've done a long road trip so I know there are no heat issues with the color matched bumper, but I may play with the inset a bit in the future.

The clamps wouldnt tighten all the way down right before I sold my 2011, but that happened with both stock and our tips...meaning it was the clamp that had just loosened up some, and not the adapter on the tips themselves. I assumed it was just because I had taken them on and off about 6 or 7 times as we were trying different tip designs.

Mine stick waay more out than yours, even more than the factory tips.
Would prefer it a bit more flush.
