This is how Mopar I am, I started with this company in 1985 and they supplied me a company truck. One of the agreements I made with them is I wanted to be supplied a Dodge. Been with them for 36 years and they still hold up to their side. My first one was a 1977 Dodge 250, my 2nd one was a 1987 Dodge 250, my 3rd one was a 1998 Dodge 2500 and now this one. It's good to work for someone that stays true to their word!PXL_20211116_202155888.jpg

View attachment 248022 This was my 68 Road Runner I owned from 1981 till about 1991. The picture does it no justice, the color was called Kandy Brandy Wine, beautiful color. It was the family car, it was my weekend racer, it was my drive to work car. That's why I laugh when people call them junk, that one car did what most people of today use 2 or 3 cars for!
I would almost kill to have a ride like that in driveway. Now, auctions on those are just way ahead of any discretionary money I may have.

That was in the 1/8th mile which it was geared to high for and it was factory stock but it ran in the 9.7's , wasn't terrible for those times!
9.7s is not bad at all. Stock 5.0 5 Spd Mustangs weren't too far off that number.

You're right about that, I paid $1200 for that car in '81 and it only had 12,000 ish miles because it spent most of its previous years on the dragstrip!

You'd be surprised how many people use to think the headlights were extra big on that '67 camper special. Used to call them the ugly trucks with the giant headlights. I liked them of course. I like that '89 also, good looking truck! Wouldn't mind that Chrysler 300C SRT8 either!

The first time I really remember seeing one of those was in Overboard the movie. Kurt drove that 4 door truck. I thought even then it looked good.

Oh man....I would hate to pick just one but...if I have to...it would the the SRT8.

The '89 was a nice truck but it rode like a buckboard with no springs! It pulled good, though.

It's been 4 years since I sold the SRT8 and I still wish I hadn't done so.

I always liked the 300s going way back what was it 05 I think. Remember the old Bentley mod they use to do on those things lol. I always liked the srt 300s. I had a buddy many years ago that had a srt magnum. We car showed for a while and then once I became a family man we lost touch. I always liked them. I like it wagons. Growing up I had a family member with a white and red prosector. No clue the V8 assuming 318, but it never let her down. My dad also has a 87 ram Charger which that sneaky dude stole out from underneath me lol. I’ll inherit his unfinished 69 camaro and the Ram Charger as long as mom stops throwing a fit about it… I have dreams of a 5.7 Hemi swap in it. 69 camaro no clue. I’ll finish it as he would want. 427 carb motor rock crusher, but I’ll want modern brakes and power steering. I had loads of fun with 67 camaro in modern times. Power drums are awesome lol and the manual steering box even quick ratio doesn’t cut it. He wants Cortez silver although I love his cars original rare dusk blue. Lemans blue and Cortez silver that he likes is too over played for me. Same reason I choose to stay with my granda gold paint on my 67. I like the different.
