This topic is important. I am in the market now, but am on the fence due to this MaxCare option. When I stopped by late last week, they indicated it is not going away as some have suggested here. The configuration I was interested in is not available on dealer lots. This means that on delivery, there may be a surprise for some if the interest is there for the MaxCare. The 30th is just around the corner. I guess we'll all see what's what then.
