Ok.... that wall of chrome is pretty bad ass. I like that it looks mean. Better than pained bumpers. I might can work with that now haha

The body style is ok. Not too far off from what we have now and I am sure it will grow on everybody over time.

What I really want to know is what is under the hood for the diesel engine and transmission. Also interior, I would guess the new 12" screen?

Well, I certainly have to say - that new design sure does look a hell of a lot better on the HD’s than on the new half-tons.

looks pretty much like the current truck body is a carry over with a tarted up front and rear end. The only reason I would trade early would be the 8 speed, atleast in the 2nd or 3rd year after start of production.

The cab and bed are identical to 4th gen but they managed to port over the interior from the new 1500. Drivetrain upgrades are still unknown but I suspect they will put a new transmission behind the 6.4 and there was talk the Cummins might get a CGI block and power bump. If not right away it will come soon. Its basically a 4.5 gen until a completely new HD comes out in a few years.

The chrome between the top of bumper and bottom of headlight makes ALL the difference.

The biggest problem I have with the 1500 front end is that massive body colored "empty" area, now filled with chrome on the HD and it looks a ton better.
